Please contact Debbie Tooby Bus Hostess and Bus Committee Member [email protected] Or Kirk Tooby Bus Driver and Bus Committee Member [email protected] EXPRESSION of INTEREST required from interested members to RESURRECT the Thursday morning JdF Seniors “ RAMBLER’S WALKING GROUP” for the Spring of 2024 The Rambler’s will complete a 1 hour rigorous hike after meeting at the center at 9:15 am on Thursdays and be transported to various locations and trails in the greater Victoria area via the center’s bus for the nominal charge of $3 per person NOTE: We need a minimum of 16 dedicated walkers to make this group feasible. When : Saturday May 4, 2024 Where : McPherson Theatre Presented by the wonderful VOS Musical Theatre Come with us to see the classic Mary Poppins in all her magic and common sense as she teaches the Banks family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins is an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stage craft that makes it the musical that soars high above the rest. A must see musical wonder. Please email Pat at: fford@ telus.net or 250-478-4387 CELEBRATION OF LIFE COORDINATOR If you would like to hold a Celebration of Life at the Centre for a loved one, please contact Evelyn Woodward . ******************************* Membership fees for 2023/2024 $123.00 A current membership is required to attend classes and participate in our centre. Seniors experiencing financial difficulty may apply to the L.I.F.E. Program. Proof of total household income and residence in the supporting municipalities ( View Royal, Colwood, Langford, Metchosin and Highlands) are required upon application. If eligible, WSPR may waive ½ of the annual fee. This is at the sole discretion of WSPR and is kept confidential. Contact West Shore Parks and Rec if you are not able to pay the full membership fee - you may be eligible for a reduction of fees. Trial Pass- In September for those wanting to try the Centre before joining - $25 for one month - Non- renewable. A Guest Pass is available for persons visiting from out of town and is issued on a monthly basis to a maximum of three months.
